Meeting called to order - 6:34p
Board Members - Camden Farmer, David Straight, Alex Johnson, Kyle Harrigan, Mike Storrs, Marsha Sonderfan, Gail Pace and Jay Burghardt
Club Members - Sabrina Donaldson and Amy Daly
May Minutes were voted on and approved
Member comments - Sabrina Donaldson thanked the board for hosting the registration for State Doubles. She was hoping to pick up a check for the registration money, so she can begin to pay the tourney bills. Unfortunately, Ray Woodruff, the man with the check book was not in attendance, so she was told she should be able to get a check at the High Plains Challenge, out in Ft Morgan, where Ray will be.
Financials - The club is currently in the black. Based on the monthly breakdown sent to the board via email, the financials were voted on and approved.
Website Update - Chad was not in attendance, but going by the Trello Board, things are running smoothly. Doubles sign ups is still being perfected, in advance of Johnny Roberts coming up in September.
The Facebook banner has changed!
Membership - Kyle spoke of the membership numbers. Currently there are 345 confirmed members. He has decided to cap this year at the 400 tags the club has already purchased, as in previous years, making a late order of more tags, we have found we could not sell them all. He said he plans to contact all people/locations that still have tags to sell, and bring them into his control, to get a better feel for exactly how many are left or unaccounted for.
Tag Matches - Tag matches are going strong. Good turnouts at many locations. Friday evenings may be up for the new course at Fehringer Park that is scheduled to be up in the next month or so. But this will still need to be explored to determine if this is feasible with the tag master volunteer and the course itself. Jay commented he was impressed with Ian Pisowicz, on how well he fielded a question, when asked at a recent Paco Course tag match, on where the money went from the sale of the Mile High memberships.
Rodnoc - Great turnout, everyone had a blast. Looks like around $1200 was raised for course improvements to Bird's Nest Disc Golf Course
High Plains Challenge - John Bird was not in attendance, but things that were know. The City of Fort Morgan approved all 27holes. Two rounds, one each day with tee times.
Triology Challenge - The limit has been reached, and packages have been ordered.
Grudge Match registration is up and running
Snow Mountain - It was asked if someone could possibly "inspire" Tom Carrillo to update the PDGA website with the confirmed names, and begin clearing out the waitlist, since the website was only set up of 18 hole, and there will be at least 20 holes. So many of the waitlisters should be ready to be moved to the confirmed.
Johnny Roberts - It was confirmed that Tom Hamilton plans to run Johnny Roberts this year as a sanctioned double event. Hopes to open up registration soon with details on their way.
2015 Colorado States - Camden mentioned that he is looking into being TD for this event next year, with a possibility of a Pueblo / Widefield combination for the location.
Merchandising updates - Mike reported that t-shirts are nearly sold out with positive responses from all. He is working with Phenix on what percentage the store vs. the club will get from sales.
Course Issues -
Bird's Nest work day scheduled for July 12th. Hoping to get tee signs up. Sponsorship of signs is still being worked on.
Paco - Rob Liebman should be looking into who has the keys to move the baskets when needed
State coordinator position is up next year, so keep an ear out for people interested in the position
Bird's Nest work day is scheduled for July 12
Meeting adjourned - 8:20pm
