Called to order - 634p
Attendance - Ray Woodruff, Camden Farmer, Kyle Harrigan, Mike Storrs, Rob Liebman, Gail Pace, Chad Francis, Alex Johnson, Jay Gibbs, Jonathan Kamm, John Bird, Dan P.
March Minutes were voted on and approved
Member comments - Jay Gibbs was our primary speaker - he asked where the club's money goes that is raised through sales of tags. Many people had comments with explanations of tourney sponsorships and amounts, upcoming storage facility, assisting in course upkeep where needed. After all the details came out, Jay expressed his pleasure with what he heard, and vowed to speak up on behalf of the money trail when other members ask about it. It was a good amount of time spent on this, but all agreed it was productive time.
Mike Storrs mentioned that he hopes to publish monthly updates on the club to the website to give the members a glance of what the club is up to
Financials - March financials were voted on and approved. Other financial notes - it was voted on and approved to take the $500, that was previously allocated for the RMWDGC, and apply $150 towards the Women's Global Event. The remaining $350 will be split amongst all 5 MHDGC events ($70 to each).
Website Update - Chad spoke of updates... all going good. He is keeping up with bugs that are posted. He has upgraded the security patches and has assured the board that our site is secure.
Gail asked if it was possible to put women's tag list on the front page, like there is on the men's. She also brought up again, Fly Green's request about a banner on the front page. The board would like someone from Fly Green to attend a meeting to discuss this further.
Membership - 282 confirmed- that puts us up enough to cover all allocations the club has for the year. Any more tags sold, brings in money to the club to help with future projects. Kyle mentioned he would like to get gifts for the tag masters. He mentioned that there is now Sunday doubles at Birds Nest at 10a.
Kyle also said he has ordered 50 additional tags.
