2nd Annual Expo Safari Challenge

This will once again be held on the last Saturday in Feb. The event is two rounds on a safari layout at Expo. There is no players package or preregistration, just show up. Payout is 100% of entry fees. Last years winner was Diskindude, shooting a -3 and -12!. I've planned a few changes from last year.

1. Divisions: Open $20, Masters $20, Am $10. This is double the entry for last year. Give me feedback if you want to go back to $10,$10,$5. Women are also welcome, you could always make up your own tees in safari fashion. Am players should be advanced, or intermediates with a big arm. The course is tough.

2. The course: It's a new design this year and I think you will really like it. Play this layout if you think expo couldn't host a big tournament. The holes are reduced from 22 to 18 to speed up play. There are 4 par 4s and one par 5 and a good variety of shots.

3. Rules: I'm going to ease up on a few of the OB rules and put in some Am tees to minimize lost discs. Like last year, you can pick 3 holes to play 'Cali' where you get 1 extra shot.
