Announcing the CDSA (Colorado Disc Sports Association) Board Meeting. It's happening on Sunday January 31, 2010 at 2pm. It will be held at the BeauJo's Pizza in Denver at Yale and Colorado blvd. I will personally be buying pizza for everyone who shows up. We have a lot to discuss in an effort to make the CDSA a better and more efficient organization for everyone. There are some major changes that I'd like to implement in 2011 and I look forward to talking to you all about it throughout the season. But this year, 2010 we will be running the Thin Air Tour, actually keeping track of the points and doing business as normal. One of my big goals for this year is to go around the state and form a personal relationship will all the clubs in the state. I'd like the CDSA to be the communication hub for all things disc in Colorado and also a conduit between the local clubs and the PDGA. I will be setting up things that we can't implement until 2011, because we need everyone's cooperation first. So nows the time if you have idea's for the CDSA, since we'll hopefully be changing it up for next year and beyond.
Come get some free pizza and help us figure out how to make the CDSA better for all of us. If you know you can't make it but have idea's, questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.

Come snow, sleet or even sunshine disc golfers and friends from all over Colorado will play and compete in the annual Mile High Ice Bowl fundraising event. This years proceeds will benefit The Arvada Community Food Bank and The Food Bank of the Rockies. We are hoping to top $15,000.00 this year and retain our first place status for Ice Bowl finishes in fundraising.
Admission is FREE for spectators with a donation of canned food or cash is gladly accepted. The food banks can turn $1.00 into 4+ meals so we try to raise more $$ so they can buy the specific items they are low on. Either way money or canned foods it all helps those that need it.
WHEN: Saturday February 6, 2010. Check-in at 8:30 am Player meeting starting at 9:30 am
WHERE: Bird's Nest Disc Park 18125 64th Pkwy. just east of the West Arvada Dog Park and Arvada Blunn Reservoir Arvada, CO
WHO: players or non-players of all ages and skills can join the FUN and help raise funds and awareness of these charitable non-profit organizations: Food Bank of the Rockies and Arvada Community Food Bank. Sponsors of the Ice Bowl to be announced.

Just wanted to pass a long a quick list of a few new features on the mhdgc site as well as a list of what's in the works.
Hope everyone is enjoying the new site, if you have comments or suggestions I am always open to input! Just keep in mind that I may not be able to get to it right away :)
