Spring is almost here, and with it comes with the 7th Annual Spring Fling. This year's event is on Saturday, April 10, and will again be a one-day, 36 hole C-Tier at the Johnny Roberts Memorial Disc Golf Course, in Arvada, CO.
On-line registration begins at 7am on Monday, March 15th, and will be accessible via a link on the
Spring Fling event page. Before you start the registration process, please be sure that you have an active PayPal account, know your division, and be current for 2010 PDGA membership or prepared to pay the $10 temp fee. This event filled in about 27 hours last year, and all indications are that this year will probably fill even faster so get in early.
Please see the
Spring Fling event page for more information. If you still have questions, please email me at
jhaman@mhdgc.org.
Thanks, and Happy Spring!

We are tentatively scheduling a course work day April 3, 1 week prior to the Spring Fling. This will most likely be the first of 2 work days we will do for the first part of 2010. We are still coordinating with the city as to what we will be doing, but it looks like some great (and well needed) improvements to the course.
If you can make it, respond here anytime between now and April 3, or shoot me a PM so we can gauge how many people will be there.
I want to thank everyone who has donated to the JR course fund over the last year, we'll see some great things with your contributions very soon.
More info to come soon!

Was browsing around the iphone app store the other day and came across a new disc golf game. So I thought I'd give it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. I'll admit the graphics aren't the best, but the gameplay and physics more than make up for it. This will certainly fill those gaps in your day when you need your disc fix and can't get out to the course (work meetings, waiting rooms or super bowl halftime shows).
