Hi everyone, it's time for us to gear up for the 2010 Johnny Roberts Memorial (Held on Sept. 4-5). This is just a quick heads up that registration will be up for both the Mansion Fundraiser (Held on August 21) and the 2010 JRM starting at 9pm, Monday July 12th. We will have separate registration for each event.

This years JRM will be open to 90 Amateur players and 90 Open players, and we won't be mixing Amateur and Open division pools like we have in the past, Open players will play Johnny Roberts 2 rounds on Saturday and one round at Birds Nest on Sunday. Amateur players will play Birds 2 rounds on Saturday and one round at Johnny on Sunday, each round consisting of 18 holes. Followed by a final 9 for Open divisions at Johnny. Costs for divisions will remain the same again.

There will be a nice package for all non-playing tournament staff and volunteers, so if you'd like to help out, please let me know!

Our state championship is right around the corner. On July 10 and 11, Foothill Flyers Disc Golf Club will proudly present this event with over $6000 (can you believe that? Over $6000!) in added cash and a fantastic weekend of disc golf and amenities. There's a great Amateur players pack consisting of wicking shirt with both logos, premium plastic disc with logo, and ALL players will receive a pint glass with their choice of logo. Additionally, Zoka's Restaurant will provide a great dinner for just $10 and Avery Brewing CO. will be serving up 2 kegs of their great brews and handing out schwag!! There will also be a Fly-Mart, a Player's Party with a raffle not to miss, and low-cost lunch on the grounds both days, both locations. Did I mention two great mountain courses? Bailey is coming together and will be available for play as early as July 2. Limited cabin and tent camping are available at Beaver Ranch and can be reserved at special rates at www.ffdgc.net.
