Fall Fling - One Disc Challenge at Johnny

user avatar Posted by Marsha Sonderfan on 09/07/2014 at 09:09 am
We're going old school and making you disc golfers learn to throw ultimate discs!
October 18, One disc challenge at JRM. I'm calling it the Fall Fling as it's a fundraiser for Spring Fling!

Come on out to Johnny, get your group of 4 or 5 people together and throw a round with an ultimate disc (Innova Pulsar or Discraft UltraStar)! Learn how to throw with touch! Your $25 entry fee gets you the disc and a cash payout for top finishers. A portion of each entry will also be used as a fundraiser towards next year's Spring Fling PDGA C-tier event.

See the event page for more information and to sign up today!

Junior Days

user avatar Posted by Mike Storrs on 07/21/2014 at 03:07 pm
Starting this Thursday 7/24 in conjunction with Springvale South tags/skins, the club will be holding Junior Days at Springvale NORTH. We will be teaching basic fundamentals and basic etiquette such as mini markers, foot faults, order of play, safety, etc.

If you want to play Springvale South tags but are stuck with the kiddos, drop them off to learn while you lose your money to Notta Sandbagger. This is not babysitting. The children are expected to behave while at Junior Days and we reserve the right to refuse service if it becomes a problem.

Junior Days will be every OTHER Thursday until tags ends. Mike Storrs will be at Springvale NORTH by 5:15. Starts at roughly 5:30. Children not picked up before dark will become wards of the club...or turned over to the proper authorities.

July 24th
August 7th and 21st
September 4th and 18th
October 2nd, 16th and 30th (special halloween glow to end the season, wear your costumes).

If you're interested in helping out in anyway, whether it's day of staff or donations to the cause or you have a great idea or feedback, please contact Mike Storrs at  or   303.257.9972
